So many people don’t seem to understand that social anxiety can manifest itself in multiple ways. Some people will just dismiss that you have social anxiety if you don’t fit into what they perceive it to be, and that lack of understanding can be really hurtful. So thank you for this.

(And as my personal comment, I fit into behavioural and cognitive.)

Hey guys! I downloaded a new brush pack. this one includes all of the screentones, brushes and different textures I use in Paint tool SAI. (these include any brushes/texture I previously posted) It’s very convenient and contains all of them in one download.

There’s different nifty brushes, there’s even one that resembles pencil on paper! The trippy texture is one of my favorites, makes a good polka dot-ish background/ or screentone.  

The brushes were put together by zio on Deviantart. visit the page and favorite/download it from there! also, a group from DA started a tumblr just for paint tool sai brushes! go check it out!

so i found this really cool bruise/cut/injury/blood/whatever brush that actually works with all kinds of cuts, bruises, even pools of blood (after the right configuration)

if you want it, dont forget to set up it as “multiply” as it wouldnt look like this at all if it wasnt set on multiply

the trick to getting the best settings is to play with the density (the smaller density, the more bruise-y it gets, the bigger it gets - the more it works with blood) and the spread texture (gets more rough when bigger)

im not the best at drawing bruises or cuts but im pretty sure a professional would easy their job up with a brush like this idk

List of youtube channels that also helped and inspired me:

FZDSCHOOL - More or less one of the most known concept art-related resources I know on youtube. It’s great to sit and draw and just listen to the talking.

SinixDesign- This guy is also great! He has some design workshops ever now and then where the viewers can send in their stuff for critique! very encouraging and inspiring!

moatddtutorials- This guy is more into drawing than painting, and has a more cartoony style. He has interesting methods when it comes to perspective. And he also challenge himself in some of his videos (the engine block video is a great example of this)

foxOrian- Also known here on dA for his awesome perspective and composition tutorials. He has a youtube channel where he posts some videos that might be interesting as well.
